Addiction is not just about drugs and alcohol that can destroy and then end your life. Addictions run rampant in our society. Addiction is also a long list of behaviors; it’s smoking, it’s vaping, it’s sugar, it’s your phone or other device, it’s bad food choices that harm you, it’s gaming, it’s mandates, it’s fear, it’s gambling, it’s porn, it’s sex, it’s TV, it’s Big Pharma, it’s doctors, it’s causes you obsessively fight for, it’s medical procedures, it’s 12 step meetings, it’s botox, it’s a person or people in your life, it’s vaccines, it’s a celebrity idol, and it's a whole lot of other things.. The list goes on and on. Addiction is even spousal abuse, because it is escalating and repetitive behavior that abusers use to marginalize their victims, or scapegoats, and get pleasure out of the abuse. These are only a few of many, many types of addictions… all interfering and harmful to your life, and probably to your loved ones.

Addiction is a compulsive, chronic, physiological or psychological need for a habit-forming substance, behavior, or activity having harmful physical, psychological, or social effects and typically causing well-defined symptoms (such as anxiety, irritability, tremors, or nausea) upon withdrawal or abstinence. Addiction is the space that fills the place where your Creator, Jesus Christ, was meant to reside.
