Why Are You Here?
You were made on purpose, for a purpose, and by the Very hand of God.

“You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and by Your will they exist and were created.”
Revelation 4:11
DEVO
You weren’t made to wander—you were made to worship.
Have you ever sat in silence and asked yourself, Why am I even here? Not just here in this town, this job, or this struggle—but here on this earth, in this life, at this time. That question haunts people of every age, culture, and background. And the world throws out endless answers: You’re here to be happy. You’re here to chase your dreams. You’re here to make something of yourself. But none of that lasts. None of it satisfies the soul.
The truth is simple but profound: You are here because God made you. He formed you with His own hands, breathed life into you, and placed you here with intentionality. You didn’t appear by accident. You weren’t born into the wrong time. You were created on purpose, for a purpose—and that purpose is to glorify God and walk in relationship with Him.
Ecclesiastes 12:13 (NKJV) says, “Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is man’s all.” That’s it. That’s the whole duty of mankind. Not fame. Not fortune. Not self-fulfillment. God made you to know Him, to love Him, and to reflect His character on this broken earth. Every other purpose flows from that foundation.
But sin distorts that purpose. It turns our eyes inward, where everything becomes about me. My will, my feelings, my desires. And the more we chase “me,” the further we get from Him. That’s why Jesus came. To reconcile us back to the Father. To bring us home to the purpose we lost. 2 Corinthians 5:15 (NKJV) says, “And He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.”
So, if you’re wondering why you’re here, you don’t need to look any further than the cross. Jesus didn’t just save your life—He gave you purpose. You are here to live for Him, walk with Him, and be a light in a dark world. You’re not just surviving. You’re called to shine.

GOAL FOR TODAY:
Reject the lie that your life is random or meaningless. Remind yourself that you were created by God, for God. Today, live intentionally! Ask Him to show you how to glorify Him with your time, words, and choices.
PRAYER:
Abba Father, I thank You that I am not an accident. I thank You that You formed me, called me, and placed me here for a reason. Forgive me for the times I’ve chased my own ways or believed I had no worth. I want to live for You, not for myself. Help me discover and walk in Your purpose every day. In Jesus’ name, amen.
